With the rise of generative AI, many creatives are pit against a relentless, content-spewing machine. It’s a struggle to not give in to a quick and “harmless” prompt. The Death of Art (T.D.O.A.) is a magazine and source of inspiration for artists to not lose hope and use the ability to create as a human to their advantage.
Issue one, titled, “100 Ways to Kill a Picture,” features the same photo taken apart and put together again in several different ways. This technique mimics AI taking existing work to make new ones, something people can easily do, but better.
